Frequently asked questions

Visiting our café

Are you dog friendly?

Of course! We would love for you to bring your dog into our café. We just ask that the dog is well behaved during your visit so that all customers can enjoy their visit.

What payment methods do you accept in store?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, contactless payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash. We don't accept American Express.

Do you have outdoor seating?

We have an outdoor seating area that we will be adding seating to very soon. Watch our socials to see when that's all ready.

Is your venue accessible?

Yes, our main café area is fully accessible with step-free entry. We also have an accessible toilet facility. If you have specific requirements, please let us know in advance so we can ensure your visit is comfortable.

Do you have Wi-Fi?

Yes, we offer complimentary Wi-Fi for all our guests. Simply ask a member of staff for the password when you arrive.

Is your café child-friendly?

Absolutely! We welcome families and children of all ages. We can provide high chairs upon request. We do request that all customers are mindful of other customers during their time at our café.

Do I need to make a reservation?

Reservations aren't required for general café seating, but they're highly recommended for our Signature High Tea experience and for groups of 6 or more. You can easily book by calling us directly.

What are your busiest times?

Weekends tend to be our busiest period, especially between 11am-2pm. If you're looking for a quieter experience, we recommend visiting on weekdays or early mornings.

Ordering online, collections and cancellations

What's the best way to store my strawberries?

To avoid the strawberries 'sweating' or leaking, they're best enjoyed within 24 hours of receiving them. Store them in a cool, dry place or in the fridge uncovered on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Avoid handling where possible.

What if I need to cancel my order?

Cancellations will render 50% of your purchase as non-refundable. The remaining 50% will only be refunded if your cancellation is made at least 48 hours prior to your booking. If you need to reschedule, your payment will remain "live" for up to 6 months. Please contact us directly to reschedule or cancel.

Where and when do I pick up my order?

The slot you booked will be the date and time for collection. Our collection address is Unit 3, Discovery Wharf, 15 North Quay, Plymouth PL4 0RB.

Do you deliver locally?

We don't currently offer delivery, but we hope to provide this service again soon.

Do you offer postal delivery?

Unfortunately, strawberries cannot be posted due to their short shelf life and delicate nature. Only collection options are available at checkout.

Why can't I book the date or time I wanted?

We can only accommodate a certain number of bookings per day, and once these slots are filled, we cannot accept more. To ensure you get your preferred time, book your products as far in advance as possible (up to 6 weeks ahead).

How much notice do you require for orders?

Standard orders require a minimum of 48 hours' notice. However, for fillable letters or numbers, we need 2 weeks' notice to order your specified characters. You can book up to 6 weeks in advance, and we recommend booking early as slots fill quickly.

What colour schemes can I choose from?

We can essentially create any colour scheme you desire. Our custom box option provides an extensive selection of colours to choose from, allowing you to perfectly match your event or preference.

How do I add extras to my order?

Extra options are available directly on the product order page. Simply select your desired additions when placing your order. You can also purchase extra items when you pick up your order from anything in our counter.

Dietry requirements

Do you offer vegan options?

Yes, we do offer a vegan range! Please call us directly to discuss the available options for your specific needs.

Do you cater to food allergies?

Yes! Please fill in the appropriate field for allergies on each product you wish to order. Be advised that we work in a kitchen that contains nuts, wheat, soya, tree nuts, eggs, milk, sesame, peanuts, almond, and gluten. Cross-contamination may occur, and we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Are your products gluten-free?

The chocolate we use is gluten-free. However, we cannot guarantee that all décor and toppings are gluten-free. Please inform us of any allergies when placing your order.

High tea and other occasions

Do I need to book in advance for High Tea?

Yes, booking is essential for our Signature High Tea experience. We require at least 48 hours' notice, but we recommend booking further in advance to secure your preferred date and time.

Can you accommodate private events and celebrations?

Absolutely! We offer a beautiful open space that's perfect for baby showers, birthdays, and other special occasions. Please contact us directly to discuss your requirements.
